Lectures of our professors at “CoNStruction19” conference
Faculty of Technical Sciences has been the host of the “CoNStruction19” conference, held from 31.10. to 03.11.2019. This conference was first held in November, 2016. in Novi Sad. Only one year later, there have been changes in the programe in order to turn the conference into a scientific one, including student scientific papers. Conference was held in the same format the year after that as well. Since it’s foundation, the conference has a constant growth of program quality and participants interest. Following the world’s trends, this year’s conference was dedicated to BIM technology, but this year it was expanded to students of architecture and geodesy.
At the grand opening held on friday, 01.11.2019., representatives of the organizing comitee, the Faculty and the departments greeted all participants. After the opening, our own PhD Dusan Jovanovic held a lecture “COPERNICUS services – Europe’s eyes on Earth”. Same day, within the geodesy module, a lecture “Application of openBIM standards in 3D cadastre” was held by our own PhD Dubravka Sladic and PhD Aleksandra Radulovic. Participants showed high level of interest in this very attractive topic. After this part, there were 2 presentations of student’s scientific papers. Aleksandar Andrejevic from Faculty of Technical Sciences held a presentation “Photorealistic visualization of city models”, while Viktoria Duracic from Faculty of Geodesy, Zagreb held a presentation “Spatio-temporal analysis of urban vegetation in the city of Zagreb using RAPIDEYE satellite imagery”. Both presentations were greeted well among the participants.
