International Conference of Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Architecture “CoNStruction 19”

International Conference of Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Architecture Students is being organized for the fourth time, this year from October 31 to November 4. Topic for this year is BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology, as one of the technologies that stood out in project management, construction, and management during exploitation. Surveying plays an important role in the creation of BIM as it should, on the basis of measurements, provide information about the physical and functional characteristics of a site and present it in digital form.
In cooperation with the Department of Computing and Control Engineering and the Geoinformatics Laboratory, at the opening ceremony of the conference, scheduled for November 1, 2019. in the Rectorate of the University of Novi Sad, a lecture on “COPERNICUS services – Europe ‘s eyes on Earth” will be delivered by PhD Miro Govedarica and PhD Dušan Jovanović, and after that PhD Dubravka Sladić and PhD Aleksandra Radulovic will give a lecture on “Application of openBIM standards in 3D cadastre”. We are looking forward to presenting scientific papers in the field of remote sensing, virtual reality, and we are particularly pleased to have the opportunity to host students from Morocco and listen to their presentation.
Workshops from the Civil3D program are organized for Saturday and Sunday (2-3.11.2019), and in addition we expect a group visit to the construction site and practical application of ground penetrating radar in the field of underground infrastructure object detection.
