Faculty open day, promotion of geodesy and geoinformatics study program

On the 14th of May, 2022. Faculty of Technical Sciences opened its doors to high school students that are interested to study at this faculty at the University of Novi Sad. Visitors had the opportunity to hear all about many study programs that they can enroll in 2022/2023 school year but also how to pass the entering exam, sign up for multiple programs as well as about the various activities held at the Faculty.

During this event, we had the opportunity to “peek” into the premises of the Laboratory of Geodesy and Geoinformatics, to gain insight into the practical results achieved by our students through formal teaching activities, modern equipment used by students during practical exercises, and to hear about the importance of international projects in which the Laboratory for Geoinformatics FTN, University of Novi Sad participates as a partner.

On this occasion, the results of the GEOBIZ project were presented, which is intended to strengthen and connect the business and academic community, all with the aim of transferring and adopting knowledge and skills in geodesy and geoinformatics, through learning based on business problems for academic excellence in geoinformatics.
