Course of Multitemporal Change Detection Using Sentinel-2

TRAINING ON EARTH OBSERVATION
Novi Sad, Serbia

The European Space Agency (ESA) in cooperation with the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Science and Faculty of Science organized a Training Course on Earth Observation:

MULTITEMPORAL CHANGE DETECTION USING SENTINEL-2

The main aim of this course was to promote Copernicus Academy Programme and disseminate Earth Observation (EO) technologies in various scientific and industrial fields, covering optical and radar sensors, with emphasis on using Sentinel-2 for environmental applications.

The participants included researchers, students, PhD students and young professionals that use EO technology within their daily work and wanted to improve their knowledge.

The participants had the opportunity  to process and use Sentinel-2 imagery trough SNAP (Sentinel Application Platform) software. Course was lead by a scientist from European Space Agency, Amalia Castro Gomez, remote sensing project scientist.
