BestSDI Workshop at the Faculty of Technical Sciences

The BESTSDI project work program was held at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in the period 8 April 2019. until 10.4.2019. The BESTSDI project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus + Key Action 2 Program, Capacity Building in the Higher Education Area (Erasmus + KA2 CBHE).

At this gathering, 50 teachers and experts from 16 academic institutions, project partners from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Germany, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, will work on the introduction of new content into university study programs in the area of spatial data infrastructure.

BESTSDI project (Western Balkans Academic Education Evolution and professional’s sustainable training for spatial data infrastructures) was accepted for funding by the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual Art and Culture of the European Union at a competition announced in 2016. The project is being implemented from October 15, 2016 and will last for three years, until October 14, 2019. The project holder is the Faculty of Geodesy of the University of Zagreb, and the Faculty of Technical Sciences, together with the Faculty of Civil Engineering from Subotica, participates in the realization of this project. The local project coordinator for the University of Novi Sad is prof. PhD. Miro Govedarica.
