3D Cadastre Lecture
On Thursday, 30.11.2017. a lecture on the 3D cadastre of visiting professor Dr. Karel Janecke of the University of West Bohemia in Plzen, Czech Republic, was organized by the Faculty of Technical Sciences organized by professors Dr. Aleksandra Radulovic, Dr Dubravka Sladić and Dr. Miro Govedarica. Professor Janecka deals with geospatial databases and geoinformation systems, and is one of the authors of the 3D Cadastre book, which is co-sponsored by the International Organization of Geodesy (FIG) with leading people from the area (Peter Van Ooster, Christiaan Lemmen).
Professor Dr. Miro Govedarica presented a guest professor after which a 1.5h lecture by Professor Janeček on 3D Cadastre was presented, in which he presented the need for introducing a third dimension into the existing two-dimensional immovable cadastre system, aspects to be taken into consideration when establishing 3D cadastre and international standards.
The lecture on the 3D Cadastre was preceded by a lecture on the geospatial databases that Professor Janecka gave to the students of the fourth year of the Geodesy and Geoinformatics study program
